Discovering Little Africa Village in Paris

Tucked away in the heart of Paris lies Little Africa Village—a vibrant space where art, history, and culture blend beautifully. During my visit this past summer, I had the pleasure of speaking with one of their generous team members who shared how the village serves as a hub for creativity, education, and community. You can truly feel the pride and purpose behind everything they do.

Of course, I couldn’t leave empty-handed! I picked up their travel guide, Afrique à Paris which highlights local Black-owned businesses, cultural landmarks, and hidden gems throughout Paris. It’s a love letter to the African diaspora thriving in the city. I also grabbed a few treats from their shop that reflect the same authenticity and warmth I felt during my visit.

What I love most about Little Africa Village is how it redefines what it means to experience Paris. It’s more than the Eiffel Tower and croissants—it’s storytelling, art, and heritage all woven together in a way that makes you pause and appreciate the beauty of connection.
