Good Music Playlist: R&B Gospel - A Surge in GOOD Music

I was visiting my Maryland hometown in 2016, listening to Praise 106.1, driving down 95 South when singer/radio personality Darlene McCoy introduced the song of an artist whose sound I had never heard before. The lyrics simply said,
So I started at the bottom, but now I'm here Got some people hating on me Guess I done came up, got my name up, fame up But I never would've did it, if I couldn't lift His name up
The beats, the melody, the vibe...needless to say I was hooked. As the years progressed, I was introduced to so many other Gospel R&B Jesus crooners that my daily playlist has become one to be rivaled.
Last week, while aimlessly scrolling the social medias (probably past the 15-minute window I gave myself), I noticed an upcoming concert at Atlanta's Center Stage with that artist that changed my music taste indefinitely, Jor'Dan Armstrong. Christian Culture Center Atlanta (CCC) was offering a free worship experience and if they didn't have me at Jor'Dan, they definitely had me at free.
The show was just as amazing as I anticipated. I was delighted when it opened with internet sensation, 12-year-old Aniya Simone and her incredible rendition of Jazmine Sullivan's Joyful Joyful with Pentatonix (if you haven't heard it, look it up. It's a banger, but it's Jazmine, so duh). What was even more cool to learn was that she DM'ed the promoter that same day to get on the bill; the perfect example of you have not because you ask not.
The headliner, Jor'Dan led us on a trip down memory lane as he sang his hits from 2015 through now. The journey reminded me of when I first heard his music and went down a rabbit hole of discovering other artists who were lifting His name up to R&B melodies. I felt it would be a crime for me not to share a few of my faves with you, so...you're welcome.
Here are some of the songs that blast in my AirPods daily (I know I should turn the volume down, but...shoulder shrug).

If you have anything I missed, pour them in the comments!!! Would you like these Good Music playlists on the regular? Let me know below.
